They tossed me!!OFCC took away my forum privileges cause I don't pander to the LEO and Goverment crowd over there. They feel because that I post factual articles about LEO and government abuse it does not look good for those that they pander to for their support that may visit the site. So after telling me about it over the past months and me bending to them but not breaking, I got the boot when i posted about a corupt cop in Chicago and said it was more then just a few bad apples like most want you to think and I asked if anyone thought this was coming to a LEA in your neighbor hood. Oh well, So be it! Thin skin I guess.
So if any of you that post bith here and there care to relay the info, i'll continue to draw a winner for the 2A Foundation membership give away and if you want to post it and the winner want to get with me I'll still honor my commitment to those that put their name on the list for the drawing.
If no one steps up, then I have no choice other then to forget the give away since I don't have access to the forums or the PM system for the OFCC members anymore.

Oh well...................Life goes on post your 2A stuff here and forget about those in the valley..

I personally don't care whether they make it or not, Most are blinded I am just going to keep my agenda and to hell with the rest ..

Alot of them are old and tired content with the CHL laws as they are.....Not willing to push for fear of losing what they have....
I may just soon vanish from online discussions..........Not that I have given up ..........But I believe my time, money and resources can be better applied elsewhere.
There is no organized agenda for reclaiming our rights and will never be............All these grassroot organizations are money pits designed to keep the ppl at bay with a little candy every now and then....
When you find a way to make ppl accountable for their actions overnight , then you have found a way to force change...............
Prison , fines, and death is the government's way of making ppl accountable for their actions.............How do we make the government accountable for their actions overnight................???

Splat!, it sounds like you're ready to start attending the OCOhio Meet 'n' Eat events.  I'm not always in lockstep with any of the gun rights organizations, but when enough members ask/demand improvement, it will come, sooner or later.

I don't remember him having a court date for anything. I do hope he didn't get in trouble for improper usage of his violin case.

What's all this about a court date?? Splat, were you talking about Chef Dennis? Or maybe Korupt, as he's long been MIA from this (his!) board?

I was referring to John, I think he had a court date late 7-07 for remove his past conviction so he could get a chl................

John's last post (here) was June 7; his last post on the OFCC forums was June 8.
PS - Sorry, I originally missed the reference to John and thought you were referring to the chef.

I see all the points about the CHL but damn I can't bring myself to give in . I hate the pain I have to go thru to stay legal in the car and just one slip up can cost me , But I hate worse giving in to them that are killing our rights................So I have to argue with myself about are we ever going to get them back and is this pain worth the effort........
My biggest concern is being able to pick and choose your method of carry in the long run, Are they going to contend because you have a CHL then you must conform to the CHL rules whether you are OCing or CCing.
The laws are just plain too vague with room for pushing the box either way, which in my opinion allows for confusion and I have found over the years anyone or anything that creates confusion has a underlying agenda........Waiting.......................

It's a tough question - you have to add the other component: how far have you (we) already gone to comply with unconstitutional restrictions to avoid arrest? (For example, your car-carry concerns...)
I think just about anyone who's thought it through (and practices any form of intellectual honesty) is well aware that Thomas Jefferson must be spinning in his grave at our inaction in the face of such tyranny.

My compliance on the car-carry to prevent arrest isn't as complex as the obtaining a CHL which also creates a database and further limits rights that you originally had.

The possibility of having violence visited upon me while in the car, stuck at a light/in traffic, made the decision a whole bunch easier for me, Splat!!. (Man, I have a hard time typing the exclamation points followed by the period when I end a sentence with your username, Splat!!!)

I have not really had much problem with subjects invading my car/truck ............Really I posted one item on OFCC involving a scary moment in which, short of a fully automatic weapon a handgun would have been useless............A finely tuned truck with full tank of gas was the best weapon at that time...........Another time all it took was cutting the wheels toward a dumba** for them to get my drift..........
