Must read from PAhttp://local.lancasteronline.com/11/30957
| Quote: | | Most don't know — and many likely will be shocked — to learn that any law-abiding citizen over the age of 18 in Lancaster County can wear a loaded firearm in public. |
And here is the thread from the Pennsylvania Firearms Association i got it from.

thanks for posting this. Even though it is a little biased by telling people that they should be shocked , it does show law-abiding citizens open carrying and gets out the message that it is legal and that people on the internet are talking about it. I wish a Ohio paper would do a similar article.

For me this keeps coming back to having a once or twice annual statewide open carry day, with participation WAY up in the thousands.

what do you think is the best way to choose a day and get the word out to all the other 2A groups?

I don't know. Seems like it would be best if either OFCC (for a statewide day) or NRA ( [nearly!] nationwide) would get the ball rolling on such an event.

Make open carry day in Ohio the same day as the OFCC picnic, that way if you can't show your support of 2A by attending the picnic, you can show your support by doing your daily activities in your hometown.
