Just starting to open carryI've had my ccw since 2004. At that time my neighborhood was infested with criminals. My neighbor was running a crack house, kids hung out at my corner all night. So I open carried anytime around the house. Never any problems with the police. Just one officer asked to see my license and I responded "I don't need a license to open carry" He asked again and I repeated. He said ok and went about his business.
Neighborhood has since improved. Lately I've been OC'ing when I go to the store or stop for gas. I usually wear my shirt tucked in so it always was a bother to untuck and conceal. So little by little I plan to open carry more often.
I am surprised how many on the ofcc forum are against this. So often they respond by saying you'll end up with a citizen calling the police for a man with gun walking the street.

good to see your neighborhood is improving.
I never liked having to untuck my shirt to CC either. Made me feel like I was looking sloppy to conceal a firearm so no other citizen had to endure the responsibility of knowing the second amendment.

Been trying more and more. In line the other day at Convenient Food Mart I could feel the girl behind me in line staring. Eventually I'll get to the point where it doesn't feel "wrong" and I'll OC everywhere.
