me tooI shot one of those once. It was one of the first pistols I ever shot. The owner was trying it for the first time, and thought there was something wrong with it, but it was shooting fine for me
But then I tried somebody elses ultra$$$ 1911, and could barely hit paper
There is lots of variety in handguns to accomadate lots of variety in shooters.

Has your Firestar had any firing pin issues? I remember buying one when Interarms first brought them out; it broke the first two pins with just a small amount of shooting, and maybe two or three dry snaps each. The third pin seemed properly hardened, but by then I was sorta soured on the gun. (This had happened to other M43s that store sold, so it wasn't just my bad luck.) Hope that hasn't been your experience.
