Hello AllHello, I found this forum thru ohioccw.org. I open carried a couple of times in Cambridge, OH after CCW was enacted and several times in Belmont county before CCW. I have a CHL and currently carry concealed whenever I am not at work. That is except for in my yard. I open carry there. I would love to OC without the fear of negative ramifications from LEO's. If you all need help with Southeast Ohio, let me know.

Well TC, Ohio needs help... atm we are a few in SW Ohio and the current plan is to work this area atm. You are welcome to come to any of our meetings and hopefully things with start to grow.

LthrnckThanks Lthrnck. I understand you are focused on your part of the state, but if I can help from this side of the state, I would gladly do so. I haven't taught in a while, but I am a certified NRA Instructor. I am certified in Basic Pistol, Personal Defense in the Home, and am a Range Safety Officer. A new grassroots effort sounds like a good challenge to me.

I know it would be a bit of a trip for you atm, but maybe you can get a few people over there and then we could try to find someplace around Columbus.
I hope that someday in the not to distance future we can be holding our monthly meetings in the Columbus area with people attending from all over the state. But we have to start somewhere.

Columbus would probably be better for a lot of people. I can be in Col. in a little over an hour.
