...You know, I've had one of these sorta buried in the ol' gun vault for several months now, more or less forgot about owning it! Picked it up last fall at a gun show, used but low miles, blued with Trijicon night sights added at some point. Gun was made before the 'Loaded' series came out, so no ILS or fancy add-on parts. Four inch barrel, 'Officer's ACP' sized grip frame.
I recall buying the gun, immediately taking it to the range for a shake down, cleaning it up when I got home and "depositing" it into the safe. Hey, at least it wasn't under the couch cushions or something...
Carried this little--okay little to me--blaster last week, giving the 5" Ltwt. Springfield 1911 a vacation from me while I was on vacation. Actually found a store in Lexington Ky. that stocks a good many pistol and rifle parts for common models. (Evans Firearms and Archery on Southland Dr.) Anyhow they had two 20 lb. recoil springs for the SA compact/Champion 4" models, I snagged up both of them.
