They don't sound silly to me, and I'm no rah-rah cheerleader for LEOs by any means. You open carry it's gonna draw some attention, that's the way things are these days. At 1:30 am if there's no barfights or some such going on to take up the attention of the PD, yeah a guy on foot carrying a gun in a college campus town is gonna "ping their radar" if you will.
Btw don't expect to get much communication on this forum board, it's circling the drain at best presently.
Well, thought I was doing my part by attending two of the get togethers, but when we can't even fill one table...this board seemed equally unattended, but since (I assume) our newest member here will be prolific, as on OFCC's forum, maybe this will change.

I agree. I think the Chef will liven things up around here. I just hope he don't start having conversations with himself here out of boredom.
